Welcome to the official World Yoshukai Karate Kobudo Organization Team Atlanta Website. We hope that you will use this website to stay current on all the local Team Atlanta Dojo events and WYKKO events as well as using it for all your karate related research needs. Class Cancelled - Tue., Mar. 2, 2010
All Roswell Recreation & Parks activities scheduled for 3 p.m. and after are cancelled for today, March 2. Buildings will close at 6 p.m.


JKS Clinic - Sat., Mar. 20, 2010
The Team Atlanta Chapter of the Jissen Karate Squad will be hosting the first ever JKS membership clinic. This will be your opportunity to join the JKS and earn the right to wear a JKS shirt. Black Belts 16 years old and up may choose to participate in the Judging Seminar and learn how to judge semi-knockdown and full contact fighting. Kyu grade students (all ages) are invited to participate in the full contact fighting seminar. Different aspects of training will be discussed by Yoshukai's top fighters in the Men's Lightweight, Middleweight, and Heavyweight divisions. Parents are invited to participate in the Time Keeping/Score Keeping seminar. Cost of clinic includes a JKS member shirt made of moisture wicking material. The clinic will finish with a JKS qualification mini-tournament!

Judging Clinic - $40 (includes shirt and judging package)
Fighting Clinic - $40 (includes shirt)
Time/Score Keeping - $35 (includes shirt)

The clinic will begin at 10:00AM and run until 12:00PM with a 30 minute break for lunch. The mini-tournament will begin at 1:00PM. (You must participate in the tournament to receive your shirt!)To ensure your shirt order, you must pre-register for this clinic by Friday, March 5, 2010


New Dojo Shirts Now Available
The new dojo shirts are finally here. Those who placed a pre-order will be allowed to pick up shirts first. The rest will be sold on a first come first serve basis. The shirts are $25. Cash is preferred, but checks are accepted. Please make all checks payable to: Marc Garduque


Video Taping Class
Due to Roswell Parks and Recreation Department regulations, video taping of class is strictly prohibited.  If you would like video copies of forms or other class related materials, this must be approved by the Chief Instructor and must be done before/after class.  WYKKO approved training DVDs are also available for purchase.


Message from the Chief Instructor
Please be sure to enroll for Winter Quarter if you intend to continue your karate training. Also, testing time is upon us, so it would be prudent for all students to double check their testing requirements.
