Black Belt Presentation/SuperFights - Fri., July 24 and Sat., July 25, 2009 It's time to gear up and test your fighting spirit by competing in the WYKKO SuperFights. The daytime event will feature point-sparring and Semi-Knockdown fighting. The nighttime event will feature Jissen (Full Contact) Karate. Team Atlanta will have 3 fighters in the nighttime event. Mr. Mark Sands (Green Belt) will make his Jissen debut. Mr. Chris Mattison (Nidan) will return for his second Jissen match. Mr. Marc Garduque (Yondan) is planning to come out of retirement to fight in the lightweight division. Please come and support our fighters! Congratulations and Good Luck! The following students were promoted at this years National Championship Tournament: Shodan - Jon Baker Shodan - Josh Sanders Nidan - Ken Baba Nidan - Chris Mattison The following students are testing at this year's Summer Camp: Shodan - Rick Glotzbach Shodan - Sherrie Hines (Athens Dojo) Sandan - Lindsay Mattison Video Taping Class Due to Roswell Parks and Recreation Department regulations, video taping of class is strictly prohibited. If you would like video copies of forms or other class related materials, this must be approved by the Chief Instructor and must be done before/after class. WYKKO approved training DVDs are also available for purchase.
